August in Photos

From Move-In to State Fair Fun
August brought a whirlwind of activity to CSU Pueblo as students returned to campus and the community celebrated summer’s end. Our photographers captured the energy of move-in day, where families hauled everything from mini-fridges to houseplants up residence hall stairs. The semester kicked off sweetly with free donuts greeting students on their first day back, because nothing says “welcome to college” quite like a sugar rush at 8 AM.
Convocation marked the official start of the academic year with faculty in full regalia and plenty of proud family photos. The campus buzzed with Fortnight activities, while downtown came alive with the vibrant Fiesta parade. CSU Pueblo made its mark in the community parade too, showing off our Pack Pride beyond campus borders.
And of course, Wolfie couldn’t miss the Colorado State Fair, mingling with fairgoers between the corn dogs and carnival rides. Take a look at how August unfolded through our lens, from nervous new students’ faces to cotton candy smiles.
