The History, Political Science, and Legal Studies 2nd Talk of Their Commemorative Speaker Series: Justice Samour, CO Supreme Court
Monday, February 16th from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | GCB 110
Justice Carlos Samour will discuss his journey as an immigrant to the United States and his path into the legal profession, followed by reflections on his role in the Aurora theater shooting case. He will explore the legal challenges of trying a high-profile criminal case, including evidentiary issues, nuances in the law, and the responsibilities of the court.
Refreshments will be provided.

The Pack Closet is looking for new or lightly worn basic clothing for students in need. We are hosting regular clothing donations at Culebra Hall to collect these items. We will also collect and distribute any donations for the Career Closet or the Pack Pantry.

Experience a simple, relaxing wellness practice designed to reduce stress, improve focus, and support overall wellbeing. In this workshop, you’ll learn about the benefits of ear acupuncture and experience how small ear seeds or optional needles can be used to promote balance and calm. Participants may choose depending on their comfort level. Come explore a new tool for self-care and stress relief! Sign up is required.
