Pueblo, CO – As the nation gears up for the 2024 presidential, state, and local elections, Colorado State University Pueblo (CSU Pueblo) offers a roster of faculty experts who can provide in-depth analysis on the key issues shaping the political landscape.

With Vice President Kamala Harris securing the Democratic nomination and former President Donald Trump as the presumptive Republican nominee, CSU Pueblo’s experts are prepared to offer insights on the evolving dynamics of the presidential race and its potential impacts on the state and local elections.

Presidential Politics and National Issues:

  • Ryan Strickler, Associate Professor of Political Science, expert on voter behavior and social media’s influence on political perceptions
  • Kathryn Starkey, Dean of Extended Studies, expert in presidential campaign strategies

State and Local Elections:

  • Eddie Lucero, Assistant Professor of Political Science, expert in state-level politics and local governance
