CSU Network Maintenance on August 28; Plan for Outages 9 pm to 2 am

Vital network maintenance will occur on August 28 at 9 pm through Thursday August 29 at 2 pm. During this maintenance, users will not have internet and campus network connectivity. This maintenance is a critical upgrade to enhance performance and reliability of the CSU network. 

Impact on Services:

During the maintenance window, connectivity to the internet will be unavailable. Anticipated issues include:

• Inability to remotely connect to Global Protect and other CSU vendors connectivity
• Loss of connectivity at CSU Pueblo and CSU Spur connectivity to Fort Collins.
• Loss of connectivity to the campus network.
• Loss of connectivity to the internet. 

Actions Needed Prior to and During the Maintenance Window:

• Save your work frequently to prevent any data loss.
• Avoid scheduling critical tasks that require constant network access during the maintenance period.
• System administrators should shut down any system or jobs that cannot handle connectivity loss.
