CSU Pueblo Homecoming brings alumni honors, ThunderWolves football, and a drone show to campus
Events run Oct. 14–17 and close Saturday night with the Howlin’ Homecoming Community Event and Drone Show on the west side of campus.
PUEBLO, Colo. – – Colorado State University Pueblo hosts Homecoming Oct. 14–17, with four days of events for students, alumni, families, and Pueblo community members. The week opens Wednesday morning with Donuts with Alumni and includes the Distinguished Alumni Awards Banquet, the 2026 CSU Pueblo Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet, and a Saturday 5K for the Student Basic Needs Fund. The ThunderWolves host New Mexico Highlands University at 2 p.m. Saturday in the ThunderBowl. After the game, the Howlin’ Homecoming Community Event and Drone Show takes over the west side of campus, with live music from The Mockingjays and an 8 p.m. drone show.
Many CSU Pueblo students are the first in their families to attend college. Homecoming puts them face to face with alumni who started in the same place and now work across Southern Colorado and beyond. The Saturday evening event brings Pueblo families onto campus for food, music, and the drone show.

Donuts with Alumni
The CSU Pueblo Alumni Association hands out donuts and talks with current students. Alumni share stories from their own time on campus and advice for life after graduation.

Welcome Home Pack House Party
Students, families, and community members honor the Homecoming Royal Court nominees and their families. Family activities fill the early evening before the event turns into a student party.

Paws on the Pavement 5K Run/Walk
ThunderWolf Recreation hosts the 5K for runners and walkers of every pace. All proceeds go to the Student Basic Needs Fund. Register for the Paws on the Pavement 5K

The ThunderWolves host New Mexico Highlands for the Homecoming football game. Fans are encouraged to wear Pack gear.

Howlin’ Homecoming | Saturday, Oct. 17
After the game, the celebration moves to the west side of campus. The Mockingjays play live music while food trucks, bounce houses, face painting, and the Alumni Beer Garden keep families and fans from across Pueblo busy into the evening. At 8 p.m., a drone show over campus closes out Homecoming week.
