Acuwellness for Stress Relief 

Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 12:30 – 1:30pm | OSC Fireplace Area 

Open acuwellness group every Tuesday at 12:30 in the OSC Fireplace area! Offered at no cost to students and staff/faculty. Acudetox/Acuwellness is placement of needles in the ear using the 5-point POCA protocol. People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA) teaches modified ear protocol used in China for pain relief and withdrawal. The protocol involves the gentle insertion of five new, small, sterilized, disposable (one time use) stainless steel needles in specific sites on ear.

We will gather for a full-day conference and poster session on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Colorado State University Pueblo’s Ochiatto Student Center (OSC) Ballroom. 

Cannabis Studies Speakers Series

Join the CHASS Cannabis Studies Speakers Series on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 11:00 am in LARC 109 to hear from CSU Pueblo Distinguished Alumna Jo McGuire. A leader in the drug and alcohol testing industry, McGuire will share her research on marijuana impairment detection technology and techniques. Free pizza provided for attendees!
