CSU Pueblo offers guaranteed admission to Colorado students with a 2.3 GPA or higher
University offers flexible application options and personalized support to help students navigate the college admissions process
Colorado State University Pueblo has long served Colorado students by providing access to an affordable, four-year college education. Building on that commitment, the university is offering guaranteed admission to Colorado high school graduates with a 2.3 GPA or higher, providing students across the state with a clear path to higher education.
Research has shown that simplifying the college application process can encourage more students to apply. As a regional comprehensive university, CSU Pueblo is committed to reducing those barriers and helping more Colorado students see higher education as an option.
Admission is guaranteed, provided no additional review is needed for state-approved, non-academic conduct reasons. Students with a GPA below 2.3 may also be considered for admission through an additional review process.
Students can apply to CSU Pueblo using the Common App or the traditional application available on the university’s website. Admissions counselors are available to provide one-on-one support, helping students understand their options, complete their applications and navigate the enrollment process.

Direct admissions partnerships
- CSU Pueblo has 21 direct admissions partnerships with school districts and educational organizations.
- Eligible students receive an offer of admission without a traditional application. They submit a short form to confirm their information.
- Application fees are waived for students who apply through participating partners.
